Dassenberg Horse Rescue Centre

Interested In Adopting A Rescue With Us?

It is very important to us that our rescued horses and dogs find the best homes available out there. To us second best just won't do.

This is why we have a strict but effective adoption policy in place. We have adopted out many animals over the years and have set a perfect plan in place that will help you adopt a very happy animal in a happy home.

If you feel you can offer these beautiful animals what they need and deserve, and you have been approved by the adoption department you could be part of making a once very abused and neglected animal a very grateful and loyal companion.

Should companies, schools or individuals feel you would like to adopt one of these animals as a mascot by taking care of it financially as part of your help to the DHRC you can also do so? This will mean that the animal still stays in the possession of the DHRC until it can physically be adopted by another individual. This company, school etc. can take care of the horses financial needs and also have access to the horse for visitations, grooming and loving on them. As soon as these animals then get adopted into other homes you can choose another to adopt. This is part of fundraising and you can contact us if you want to know more about this.

If you see any animals on this page that you like, contact Mayanna today to make an appointment. She will then also explain the adoption procedures to you.
